15000 Btu air conditioner disappointment

Disappointed in this air conditioner. Purchased thru Wayfair in Canada and apparently it is a US model so no warranty for me. When I turn it off the compressor keeps running until I unplug the cord. Definitely not made to last. Has only been used for 6 months and should still be under warranty. I was hoping to get a few years out of it.

Filter light came on after two weeks

Only had this unit for approximately two weeks and it now states that the filter needs to be cleaned. When we checked the filter it was free from dust/debirs. Also I ordered this unit online through Amazon from a third party. The description that they posted stated that the unit was for an 800 square foot room. When I received the unit the box stated it was for a 700 square foot room.

Bought one advertised as a 15000 was 14000 same model number but advertised wrong. Brought it home after few hours install came on then died. Went back to best buy didnt have one in stock shipped me one worked 2 days then would not power on no apologies and effort to resolve never again

I live in Louisiana where it is super hot. I bought this a/c to help the central air. It ran for about 1 hour and now it will not turn back on. Called a service repair man. We will see.

Cools the first floor

I wanted a new AC to replace my existing one. It wasnt cooling anymore when the temps got really high during a heat wave. This is a strong AC and was able to cool the entire first floor of the house with no problems. It was definitely a step up. Runs relatively quiet so it doesnt interfere with anything else. I love that it is connected to wifi so can control it from anywhere. I like using the timer feature to set how long I want it run. Sometimes I only needed it to run for a few hours and the timer helped so I didnt have to remember to turn it off. It is a bit heavy so I suggest at least 2 people to install.

Love my new ac

I have been in need of a new window ac for a while. After setting the AC up and using it for the first time this is exactly what I needed. Strong air flow that almost feels like I have central ac and its wifi enabled so i can control from anywhere. I wish it was a little quieter but otherwise its perfect.

I got this air conditioner to cool our three car garage off while my husband works on things out there. Its such a large space I assumed it would make things more comfortable on really hot days. But this thing actually cools the entire garage off. It gets cold in there My husband loves the that its wifi enabled to control it with Alexa in addition to the remote control and I love that it has a washable filter. The 24 hr timer comes in handy

Coldest air ever

What a satisfying comfort level in our home. This LG Electronics unit cools the while bottom floor in our house. It is powerful and emits 15000 BTU per hr. It has 3 cooling speeds is energy efficient and has an easy to use remote control . Even the window kit is included. The unit will automatically come back on after a power failure and cools a room size 800 square feet. Fits window size of 29x 41x 19. We couldnt be happier with this unit and fully trust LG products. It runs fairly quiet isnt loud and annoying like some other AC units run.We couldnt be happier with our new LG Air conditioner and highly recommend this product.

The LG LW1521ERSM Air Conditioner is wonderful unit. We installed in our kitchen since it gets hot there more than any room in the house. Even hotter when we are cooking for family get together. This solves out issue. The LG LW1521ERSM is very easy to install. We followed the instruction step by step. This unit fits in our regular sized window. It is just the right size. It does not require any additional brace or bracket for the outside. Everything you needed is included. Operating this air conditioning is pretty simple. You can either use the control panel on the unit use the remote or connect it to your Alexa or Hey Google so you can just talk to it. Thats pretty high tech if you ask me. The operation is very quiet. It is also a good looking air conditioner. Overall we really like this air conditioner. It is perfect for our kitchen and most of all it is ENERGY STAR Certified which is very important to us. We highly recommend it.

I strongly recommend you take the advice of the manufacturer and measure the room you are installing this in to ensure you get the right BTU capacity. This 15000 BTU air conditioner is perfect for my workshop building. In Texas I needed something after getting baked for 15 summers in a row. Fans just dont cut it. This unit makes quick work of cooling down my workshop before I go in there. The wifi capability allows me to adjust the settings before stepping foot out of my living room. Having a mobile app and the ability to work with Alexa makes this one of the smartest investments I have made in my tools. Installation is fairly simple but if you get a larger unit you will need help getting it into position as this thing is sizeable and heavy. I also like the washable filter. We have a LOT of pollen and dust here so knowing I wont be buying replacement filter every month was one of the deciding factors in this unit. Mine came via freight delivery and arrived on time and in great shape.

Seems to cool well and quickly. I needed one that would cool two rooms separated by a doorway total about 750 sq feet and this seems to fill the bill. Some found noisy its about typical to me not super quiet which specs made it sounds it might be but no matter. Its big fills window. My favorite feature is the dry setting taking humidity out of air rather than reducing the temperature you can set the temp too which is a more efficient setting apparently. Maybe most new ones have this but Id never heard of it and really appreciate that feature.
